Homes (April 24th) by Mylene

McPin

Homes now assume a new meaning. Not just a roof over one’s head, but a refuge, a safe place, a protection from the coronavirus threat. Or a place of loneliness, of isolation. Or a place of silent threat and violence, undetected. I walk past these homes and wonder what sort of home this is, what life takes place within these walls, lives that are otherwise more visible, in the public.
